Stun gun used

A 300-year-old Stradivarius violin on loan to Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra concertmaster Frank Almond was stolen during an armed robbery after a performance.  An assailant used a stun gun on Mr. Almond and then fled with the "Lipinkski" Strad in a maroon van.  The value of the violin is estimated at $3.5 million.

Italian violinist and composer Giuseppe Tartini was the first known owner of this instrument.
