National Youth Orchestra Takes Purchase; Washington Is Next

PURCHASE, N.Y. — The traditional way for young music students to learn the craft is to work steadily over multiple years with a trusted teacher. Playing regularly in ensembles and orchestras under expert coaches and conductors is also important.
